Video Blocker is a free video blocking extension for Chrome. It provides a way to block videos by visiting the channels you want to hide from. You can also choose to block ads, block requests for subscriptions, and even videos that contain a specific keyword.
If you are still having trouble with your subscriptions, you can click the settings option under the notification icon to activate/deactivate the blocking of videos that contain a certain keyword. You can also specify channels by clicking the settings icon at the top right of the browser window. After that, you can choose whether to block them or to show them to your kids.
Some options have been disabled since they can be used by anyone.
